Diversity

The picture may surprise you, we think of diversity as people looking different. Invisible diversity is often the most socially difficult to overcome because they are not obvious. Gender identity, sexual orientation, cultural and socioeconomic background, the list goes on.

Diversity is not always what you see

Diversity is not about being politically correct. It is about enrichment of society that people contribute through their diverse views, beliefs, skills, and feelings There is no cresativity or innovation without diversity.

Let’s go past the visible and obvious diversity like race, ethnicity, or disability, and focus on what inivisble diversity brings to society.

Ideas to build up your confidence

  • Better understanding and more empathy: diverse experiences emables better understanding and empathy between people. Leading to collaborative communication, and a more inclusive society.
  • Enables creativity and innovation: for new ideas, new ways to address problems to happen, requires different thinking or different experiences, arising from the diversity of people.
  • Better decision-making: being open to consider diverse viewpoints helps feed critical thinking,which in turns makes it possible to arrive at more objective decisions.

  • Aae is a pro wrestler in the WWE.
  • Bee is a neuro-surgeon married to Cee.
  • Cee, wife of Bee, is an economic writer, she is dyslexic.
  • Dee is a BDSM dominatrix.
