Body Confidence
When you can look at yourself naked in the mirror and feel good about it, recognizing your flaws and imperfections without feeling shy or uneasy about them, then you can honestly say that you have body confidence. It is not about looking perfect to others, it is about how you feel about yourself. It is fundamental to your self-confidence.
This article does not need to be long in explanations. Simply a few points to consider:
- Ignore social media, especially influencers. What you see there is to get views, get likes, get famous. You may like what you see, but It has nothing to do with how you feel about yourself. Keep what you see and what you feel separate.
- Don’t go diet crazy, simply stay healthy The more restrictive a diet is, the shorter it will last, or the more miserable you will feel, leaving you worse off than when you started. Just keep it reasonably healthy, cut down a bit here and there, and stay with it. In time it will pay off and stay that way.
- Wear what makes you feel good! Don't hide your body in loose clothes, you will only make it worse. Wear what fits well with your shape. Take risks with bright colors, be daring showing off the parts of you that you are especially proud of. There is no reason to be prude about yourself. Fashion is a fun way to exercise your self-confidence. Experiment with colors, patterns, and trends that make you feel great.
Building body confidence is learning to love and accept yourself. When you focus on your strengths, confidence will come to you naturally.
